The Department of Chemistry at PTM Govt. College Perinthalmanna was established in 2018 with the goal of providing a high-quality education in the field of chemistry to undergraduate students. As part of the BSc Chemistry program, students are required to study chemistry as their main subject, along with mathematics and physics as complementary subjects. Since its inception, the department has consistently achieved excellent results in both academic and non-academic endeavors.
Each year, the department admits a class of 32 students who are passionate about pursuing a career in chemistry. The faculty consists of three experienced and dedicated professors who are committed to providing students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the field. The department is also equipped with a well-stocked laboratory that is equipped with the necessary glassware and modern instruments to support hands-on learning and research.
