INTERNAL COMPLAINT COMMITTEE
As per the letter No. G2/24356/2021/DCE dated 31/07/2021 of Director of Collegiate Education Internal Complaint committee has constituted in the college. The Sexual Harassment of Women at workplace(Prevention, Prohibition And Redressal) Act, 2013 is an act to provide protection against sexual harassment of women at workplace and for the prevention and redressal of complaints of sexual harassment and for matters connected therewith. Sexual harassment results in violation of the fundamental rights of a woman to equality under articles 14 and 15 of the Constitution of India and her right to life and to live with dignity under article 21 of the constitution. The protection against sexual harassment and right to work with dignity are universally recognized human rights by International conventions such as Convention of the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination against women, which has been ratified on 25 th June 1993, by the Government of India.
The committee organizes invited lectures by eminent persons in the area of POSH Act to give awareness for the employees and to eliminate all forms of discrimination against women in the institution.
