In PTM Govt. College Perithalmanna Malayalam is taught as a Second language course for BA/BSc and BBA. As Malayalam is mother tongue majority of students opt Malayalam as their second language. The Dept has given proposal to government for allotting BA and MA Courses in Malayalam literature. If the proposal gets approval the students of Northern region of Kerala will be able to attain degree in Malayalam literature and excel jobs in various sectors in Kerala state.
