The Department of Statistics was established in the year 1998 with Statistics being offered as a complementary subject of the
B.Sc Mathematics course. The department has one permanent faculty.The department possesses 300 reference books.
The faculty of the department is well associated with professional and academic bodies in Statistics and also have represented in the administrative and academic bodies of this college and University like member of Board of studies etc. The faculty of the Department is handling classes to the students of various departments of the College on various examinations like UGC (First paper and Second Paper), KPSC etc.
