Grievance Redressal Commitee

The Grievance Redressal Cell aims to look into the complaints lodged by any student and redress it as per requirement. The students can state their grievance regarding any academic matters within the campus through the online and/or grievance complaint box.

The Grievance Redressal Cell of the college consists of a Convenor and 6 members.

Objectives

The Grievance Redressal Cell has been developed to settle the grievances of the students within a reasonable time period for further strengthen the bond of the students with the institution by providing them with all kind of facilities to a satisfaction level for maintaining a convenient ambiance of academic teaching and learning.

Grievances include the following complaints of the aggrieved students namely:

  1. Making admission contrary to merit determined in accordance with the declared admission policy of the institute

  2. Irregularity in the admission process adopted by the institute

  3. Refusing admission in accordance with the declared admission policy of the institute.

  4. Non publication of results as specified

  5. Publishing any information in the prospectus, which is false or misleading, and not based on the facts

  6. Withhold or refuse to return any document

  7. Demand of money in excessof that specified in the declared admission policy

  8. Complaints from the SC , ST,OBH, Women, Minority or disabled categories

  9. Non payment or delay of scholarships

  10. Delay in conduct of examinations or result publication

  11. Non transparent or unfair evaluation practices

  12. Sexual harassment

Procedure for lodging the complaints

  • The students may feel free to put up a grievance in writing /or in the format available in their department and drop it in the boxes

  • The Grievance Redressal Cell act upon those cases which have been forwarded along with the necessary documents.

  • The Grievance Cell will assure that the grievance has been properly solved in a stipulated time provided by the cell.

Procedure in Redressal of Grievances

  • Department level counseling is offered where the matter can be solved.

  • Grievance pertaining to academic and internal evaluation shall be redressed at individual/faculty/HOD/ Principal level.

  • For other grievances that require review shall be redressed by receiving written and signed application.

  • As soon as the application is received the Redressal Cell shall review the complaint and invites both parties for discussion. The outcome of the discussion is reported to the Principal for further action to be taken.
