- Foundation Courses: These courses are compulsory and cover essential competencies like language proficiency (English, regional languages), value-added courses, multi-disciplinary courses, and skill enhancement courses.
- Elective Courses: Discipline-specific, ability enhancement, and value-added electives allow customization of the academic path depending on students’ career goals.
- Practicum and Internships: FYUGP includes a mandatory internship or apprenticeship component, enabling students to gain practical experience in industry, research labs, or community organizations.
- Honours and Honours with Research: After three years, students may exit with a degree or continue for a fourth year to earn honours or honours with research, especially in institutions with approved research centres.
