The Department of Chemistry at PTM Government College, Perinthalmanna was started in 2018 for offering BSc Chemistry with Chemistry as main subject and Mathematics and Physics as complementary subjects. Two batches were released with good results. Right from the start, the department has been making significant achievements in academic as well as in non- academics. The department gives admission to 32 students every year for BSc chemistry course. At present there are 3 faculty members in the department. The department has a well- equipped laboratory with sufficient glassware’s and modern instruments.

- To give a thorough grounding in the principle of chemistry, both in theory and in practical experience
